Jabez LaRue (X.) died in September, 1823, at the age of 55years, leaving no children. He was buried in the graveyard ofthe Buck Marsh meeting house, near Berryville, Va. His widowwas a party to the action which was pending in the courts ofFrederick County in the year 1824, to settle a considerableestate of the deceased husband, who died intestate. The writerhas obtained from copies of the papers in this suit the names ofmany of the grandchildren of Isaac IjaRue, Sr. See Appendix(C). 147. o aj _C5 ».2 =* >a^ ^ or 148 EARLY CHURCHES AND PASTORS OF UPPERNOLYNN VALLEY. The social, as well as the religious, life of the early settlerswas largely influenced by the churches and ministers in theirmidst. A brief account of the churches and pastors of the UpperNolynn Valley is therefore of interest in connection with thepersons mentioned in this volume. The membership of the greater part of the earlier genera-tions of the LaRues and their connections who were located inthe Green River section of Kentucky was limited to four Baptistchurches, all of which are yet in existence. Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees!
