The Extensor minimi digiti (m. extensor digiti quinti proprius) is a slender muscle placed on the inner side of the Extensor communis, with which it is gen- erally connected. It arises from the common Extensor tendon by a thin, tendin- ous slip, and from the intermuscular septa between it and the adjacent muscles. Its tendon runs through a separate compartment in the annular ligament behind the inferior radioulnar joint, then divides into two as it crosses the hand, the outermost division being joined by the slip from the innermost tendon of the common Extensor, The two slips thus formed spread into a broad aponeurosis, which, after receiving a slip from the Abductor minimi digiti, is inserted into the second and third phalanges of the little finger. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
